Power of Pilates T&C's

Please read our booking terms and conditions carefully before making your booking. By proceeding to make a booking with us, you are confirming that you have read the Terms and agree to be bound by them.

These Terms together with our booking confirmation (which may be oral or written) constitute the contract ("the Contract") between us for the supply of services to you. The Contract shall not be varied in any way whatsoever unless agreed in advance in writing between the parties.

Booking and Payment:
A binding contract is formed once we accept your offer to make a booking for a class or block of classes. Payment for courses booked must be received in advance. If payment is not received, Power of Pilates reserves the right to release the booking. Due to the exclusivity of the classes, no refund will be given for cancellations or missed classes.

If you are unable to attend any of the classes during the period you have booked, 24 hours notice of cancellation is required to enable you to transfer your booking to another class (subject to availability and time period). If you do not give 24 hours notice you will be charged in full.

You are responsible for checking the details of your booking at each stage of the booking and payment process. If you have any special needs, we ask that you advise us of your requirements by before you make a booking online. You can help us ensure we will be able to meet your needs by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance of the date and time of the first class you wish to book.

In the event of a genuine website error or inaccuracy, we reserve the right to cancel all confirmed class bookings. In the event or such cancellation our only liability to you shall be to refund the price paid by you for your class booking, or to transfer you to a class at an alternative date and time, whichever you prefer.

Refund Policy:
Power of Pilates Ltd does not offer any refunds on private sessions, group classes and or special/promotional offers.

Lateness Policy:
Please arrive 5 minutes before your class starts. Late arrivals won't be admitted and will be charged full fee.

Medical Information:
Power of Pilates is not a substitute for medical care, and offers no health warranties or guarantees of any kind. The information provided in these pages is not intended as a substitute for medical advice from your GP or health professional. Power of Pilates is committed to bringing you the most up to date information; however there is no guarantee that the information herein is the most recent with any particular subject.

It is your sole responsibility to check with your doctor or health professional with any concerns regarding any health conditions you may have before starting Pilates classes. While we take every care to ensure safe practice, there are inherent risks in any exercise programme and we accept no liability whatsoever for any injury or illness you incur through taking our classes, or by your failure to notify us of any existing health problems or special needs.

Terms & Conditions: Classes

You must be 16 or over to attend classes at Power of Pilates Ltd. Classes are always subject to availability but we will always do our best to accommodate you in your chosen class.

All classes must be prepaid and all clients agree to our 24hr notice policy when cancelling and/or rescheduling a class. If you’re booked into a class, but you miss it or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged for it.

Out of consideration for the Instructor and the other Clients, and also for your own safety if you are more than 5 minutes late for a class, you will not be able to attend the class.(warm-up is a very important part of each Pilates class)

Classes and Personal training sessions are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise.

Reformer classes are sold individually, and in blocks of 5, 10 and 30 or such other combinations as Power of Pilates Ltd may introduce from time to time. Blocks of classes cannot be shared.

Mat classes are sold individually (PAYG), or as a 7 week course. If you sign up to mat Pilates on the 7 week course option you must use all 7 classes within 7 weeks. We offer over 20 in person mat classes and 2 live stream mat classes per week so there is plenty of choice.

Class fees may be increased by Power of Pilates Ltd at any time. The Proprietor shall give Clients not less than 14 days notice prior to any such increases.

The rights of cancellation and refund and any limitation expressed in these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Refunds in relation to Products or Services may only be credited to the credit or debit card originally used to make the purchase. An administration fee of £50.00 is payable.

Refer a friend:
Referrals can only be made by existing and active customers of Power of Pilates. Only one account per household can refer friends and earn the Referral Bonus and existing customers cannot refer people in the same household. A referred friend can only be referred once and is restricted to one bonus per account, per household. Referred friends who are already existing customers of Power of Pilates will not be eligible to receive a Referral Bonus. For example, if the referred friend opens a new account for the purposes of claiming a Referral Bonus both you and your friend will NOT receive a Referral Bonus. In order to benefit from this Scheme, Friends must use the Referral Link to register their details and make a Qualifying Purchase. Where Power of Pilates is unable to offer an account to a customer, neither the referrer nor the referred friend will receive a Referral Bonus. This Refer a Friend offer may be varied or withdrawn at any time in whole or in part without prior notice and is subject to availability and our Fair Use policy. Participation in this Refer a Friend offer constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Ownership of Rights:
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned or licensed by Power of Pilates. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Power of Pilates. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.

Damage to your Computer:
Power of Pilates makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. Power of Pilates shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website or on any website associated with it.

Complaints Handling Policy:
Power of Pilates is committed to effectively, efficiently and fairly handling any complaints about its goods and services. We recognise that:
Customers have a right to make a complaint;
Complaints offer us the opportunity to gain feedback about our goods and services and improve the way we do business;
We aim to avoid disputes by having an effective communications strategy; and
We must have a procedure for properly handling and recording all customer complaints, which is known to staff and customers.
