Please read our booking terms and conditions carefully before making your booking. By proceeding to make a booking with us, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
These Terms, together with our booking confirmation (which may be oral or written), form the contract between Power of Pilates Ltd and the client for the supply of services. No variation to these Terms will apply unless agreed in writing.
Booking and Payment:
A binding contract is formed once we accept your booking. Payment must be received in advance for all classes, courses, private sessions, memberships and events. If payment is not received, Power of Pilates reserves the right to release the booking.
All classes must be booked using a valid class credit, pass or membership. A class space is only reserved once a valid credit has been applied to the booking. If a booking does not have a valid credit attached, the space may be released and made available to other clients.
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
If you are unable to attend a class, at least 24 hours' notice is required in order to transfer the booking to another class, subject to availability and the validity period of your credit or pass. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, or if you fail to attend, you will be charged in full and the class credit will be forfeited.
You are responsible for checking the details of your booking at each stage of the booking and payment process. If you have any special requirements, please contact us before making a booking online and, where possible, at least 48 hours before your first class.
In the event of a genuine website, app or administration error, Power of Pilates reserves the right to cancel or amend a booking. In such circumstances, our liability will be limited to either transferring you to an alternative class or refunding the amount paid for the affected booking.
Refund Policy:
Power of Pilates Ltd does not offer refunds on private sessions, group classes, memberships, courses, workshops, events, or special/promotional offers, except where required by law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Lateness Policy:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class starts. Late arrivals may not be admitted and may be charged in full, both for safety reasons and to avoid disruption to the class.
Monthly Reformer Memberships:
Monthly memberships comprise a set number of class credits for a monthly fee. Credits activate from the date of purchase and renew monthly unless otherwise stated. Memberships are billed from the date of purchase and thereafter on the same date each month unless a different billing arrangement is stated at the point of purchase.
Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, memberships have a minimum term of THREE months and continue automatically until cancelled. One full month's notice of cancellation must be provided by email to hello@powerofpilates.co.uk before the next billing date. Unused credits expire at the end of each monthly payment period. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. Late cancellations within 24 hours will result in a class being deducted from your monthly allowance.
Medical Information and Participation:
Power of Pilates is not a substitute for medical care and does not provide medical advice. All clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in classes. It is your responsibility to consult a doctor or other suitably qualified health professional before starting classes if you have any concerns about your health or suitability for exercise.
Clients must inform the instructor before class of any injury, illness, medical condition, pain, dizziness, recent surgery, pregnancy, postnatal status, or any other issue that may affect safe participation. By attending a class, you confirm that you are fit to take part.
While Power of Pilates takes reasonable care to provide safe and professional instruction, participation in classes is undertaken at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Power of Pilates shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your participation in classes or your failure to disclose relevant health information.
Age Requirement:
You must be 16 or over to attend classes at Power of Pilates Ltd unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Class Availability:
All classes are subject to availability. Power of Pilates reserves the right to change instructors, class times, equipment, venues, or to cancel classes where necessary. Where a class is cancelled by the studio, we will offer either a replacement class, a credit, or a refund for that cancelled class.
Validity of Credits and Passes:
Classes, credits, passes and personal training sessions are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Unused credits expire automatically at the end of the relevant validity period and cannot be carried over, refunded or transferred unless required by law.
Reformer Classes:
Reformer classes are sold individually, and in blocks of 5, 10 and 30, or such other combinations as Power of Pilates Ltd may introduce from time to time. Blocks of classes cannot be shared unless expressly stated otherwise.
Mat Classes:
Mat classes are sold individually (PAYG), or as a 7 week course. If you sign up to mat Pilates on the 7 week course option you must use all 7 classes within 7 weeks. We offer 25 in person mat classes and 2 live stream mat classes per week, so there is plenty of choice. If you cannot make 7 classes in a 7 week period please use the PAYG option. 7 week pass classes cannot be carried over.
PAYG credits allow you to book one class. Class packs allow bookings up to the number of credits available on the pass. Bookings without a valid credit attached cannot be held.
Waitlists:
If you join a waitlist and a space becomes available, you may be added into the class automatically. It is your responsibility to check your bookings and cancel within the required notice period if you can no longer attend.
Price Changes:
Class fees and membership prices may be increased by Power of Pilates Ltd at any time. Where reasonably possible, clients will be given at least 14 days' notice before any price increase takes effect.
Personal Belongings:
Clients bring personal belongings to the studio at their own risk. Power of Pilates cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where caused by our negligence.
Consumer Rights:
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Any refund due will be made to the original payment method wherever possible.

Referrals can only be made by existing and active customers of Power of Pilates. Only one account per household can refer friends and earn the referral bonus and existing customers cannot refer people in the same household.
