Our Pilates mat classes are a great choice to start your Pilates journey, the classes are hugely beneficial for your health and posture and the sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities.

Our group mat classes focus on a series of movements incorporating strength, flexibility and mobility. The exercises are progressive and safe, allowing you to work at your own pace with an emphasis on technique and individual progress - all being done on a mat.

We ensure a limited number of clients are in a class (max 12) to allow for individual attention – this is not a mass produced production line, each body is different and every session is tailored to take each person into consideration.

We have been teaching mat Pilates in our studio since 2006 and have trained thousands of clients. Many of the same clients are still with us enjoying their weekly mat based Pilates sessions - almost 20 years later!

Locations: We offer matwork classes every day at our Pilates studio in Lower Earley, Reading. Due to demand we also offer matwork at external locations in both Finchampstead and Wokingham.

Our Pilates mat classes run continuously in blocks of 7 weeks - you are welcome to join at any point within the 7 weeks with a pro rata payment.

Mixed Ability class: (suitable for all levels of ability including beginners, pre & post natal)

The emphasis is on technique and individual progress with several levels of difficulty offered within each exercise to ensure you work at a level that is as comfortable, or as challenging, as you want.

Power Pilates: (Intermediate / Advanced only)

A fast paced, upbeat class suitable only for competent Pilates goers who can take the pace without their technique slipping! A good level of fitness with an excellent understanding of Pilates technique is required. Please ask if you are unsure if this is suitable for you.

Pilates and Pregnancy:

We are pleased to offer mixed ability mat Pilates classes that are suitable, safe and very enjoyable for pregnant women to attend - every instructor has plenty of modifications for each stage of your pregnancy to keep you safe & comfortable in a mixed ability matwork class. Pilates and Rehabilitation:

If you are doing Pilates through advice from your osteopath, physio or chiropractor, we can work closely with them to ensure that you are getting the best possible care. I would strongly recommend speaking to us prior to starting your classes or booking a 1:1 session to ensure that we are aware of any limitations and to ensure that you are comfortable with the basics.
