Hello, Power of Pilates community! Saskia here, I wanted to take a moment to share with you what a typical day looks like for me. Every day is different, filled with a mix of group reformer classes, group mat Pilates, and personalized 1:1 sessions. But one thing is constant: my love for Pilates and my passion for helping you achieve your fitness goals!
Early Bird Gets the WormMy day often starts early - often as early as 7am! I roll into the studio, ready to energize both myself and my first group of clients for the day. The morning classes are always buzzing with energy, and I love seeing the dedication of our early risers.
I usually kick off my day upstairs in our beautiful reformer studio, teaching a series of group reformer classes. The reformer adds a whole new dimension to the Pilates experience, providing resistance and a greater range of motion that helps build strength and flexibility. I love watching clients challenge themselves and discover just how strong they really are!
As an instructor it’s always a great feeling to see everyone come together, working hard, laughing, and pushing through the burn. The energy in these morning classes is infectious, and it sets a positive tone for the rest of my day.
After a busy morning, it’s time for a little break. You’ll often find me in our cozy staff kitchen, recharging with a cup of coffee and a banana (my go-to snack!). These moments of rest are so important for keeping my energy levels high and making sure I’m ready to bring my best to each class.
I love teaching Pilates in all its forms, from the dynamic movements of the reformer to the precision of mat work. Every class is an opportunity to learn something new, both for me and for my clients. It’s this constant growth and learning that keeps me passionate about what I do.
